I trained at the Minster Centre in London where I obtained an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling (Masters level, 2011).
I am a member of the U.K.C.P and of APPCIOS (Psychotherapy and Counselling in Organisational Settings).
I have further training in working with psychological trauma from an Attachment perspective and in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (Certificate 2012). I am currently completing a one year Infant Observation.
I have experience in working with people who suffer with many kinds of difficulties, and particularly:
Between 2011-1013, I co-facilitated a weekly self-harm support group in an NHS Drop-In Centre in Brighton.
I come from France. I have lived and worked in the UK since 1997.
I can work in English or in French.
We will first look at what you want to address or change in your life, and decide together on a time frame to explore your difficulties. It is best to meet at a specific time every week.
Building a trusting and collaborative relationship in which you can feel safe to explore your difficulties is a key part of our meetings.
My way of working has it roots in gently bringing attention to the hidden fears and beliefs that often reside beyond the symptoms and patterns of thoughts and sensing. I consider an aim of Psychotherapy to create a space where you can be with yourself, as well as being with me, and develop your own way of joining up sensing, feeling and thinking together. This helps to create greater clarity, self acceptance and resourcefulness around your situation.
I aim to support the person's own process with respect for personal values, beliefs, and sexual orientation. I am LGBT affirmative.
I charge £48 for all sessions, including the initial session which lasts 1 hour.
Subsequent sessions last 50 minutes.
